ALL PLAYERS SHOULD BRING A NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE OF $20.00 ALONG WITH A COMPLETED REGISTRATION FORM AND A PRESSURED SOCCER BALL TO TRYOUTS. ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A TRYOUT T-SHIRT. CHECKS CAN BE MADE OUT TO "LANCO UNITED."

Lanco United (95) U14 Boys won the March Mania Championship this past weekend with a record of 3-1-0. On Saturday, Lanco United tied their first game against the Beadling SC 95ers (PAW), 1-1 and won their second against Montclair United SC Gauchos (NJ) ranked 6th in the Nation, 1-0. Sunday morning they won their first game against the Baltimore Bays Blues (MD), 1-0 to get an opportunity to play in the finals. They won the championship game against Ironbound SC Fury (NJ), 1-0. The relentless offense, who hammered some incredible shots on net, consisted of Leo Van Biskirk, Armin Efendic, Nathan Delgado, Trey Carrier, Kyle Stettenbauer, Thomas Schlarp, Chandler Kline, Evan Addis, Ben Groff and Raiyu Ayanto. The dominant defenders who had three shut outs over the weekend are Kody Eberly, Callen Wendler, Jonah Mohre, Matthew Wright, Gabriel Rowe and goal keeper, Ian Byrnes. The team as a whole displayed an amazing amount of maturity, hard work and team character. These soccer players represent a mixture of our local area schools; Conestoga Valley, Hempfield, Lampeter Strasburg, Manheim Twp, Penn Manor, School District of Lancaster, Warwick, Cedar Cliff, Redland and Elizabethtown. The team is coached by Pete and Kosta Bournelis. Congratulations to all!
2009 Primo Cup Champions
The Lanco United 95 U-14 Boys team gobbled up the competition at the first annual Primo Cup tournament held over Thanksgiving weekend at the USTC complex in Downingtown. They ended the weekend with a record of 4-0.
First game on Saturday was against West Chester United SC Predators 95, final score 2-1, Nathan Delgado scored the first goal and Raiyu Ayanto scored the second. Next game was against Real New Jersey SC Revolution, final score 3-0, Nathan Delgado scored two of the goals and Armin Efendic scored one which was assisted by Evan Addis. On Sunday, the first game was against BPYAA Cyclones, a Maryland team, final score 6-1, goals scored by Kody Eberly, Callen Wendler, Trey Carrier and Leo Van Buskirk. Second game was against PSC COPPA 95 Netrippers, a Philadelphia team, final score 1-0, goal scored by Leo Van Buskirk which was assisted by Nathan Delgado.
Lanco’s defense (Gabe, Ian, Callen, Kody and Thomas) did an awesome job of ending the weekend with only 2 goals scored against. These soccer players represent a mixture of our local area schools; Conestoga Valley, Hempfield, Lampeter Strasburg, Manheim Twp, Penn Manor, School District of Lancaster, Warwick, Cedar Cliff, Redland and Elizabethtown. LANCO U16 Boys IN EUROPE
Team will tour Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Match with BAYERN MUNICH's Junior Team on the 11th.
The LANCO United 93’s are in currently on a European Tour with coaches John Fisher and Harry Zechman. The boys flew out on Wednesday and will updating us throughout their trip.
